the founder and owner of the High Terrain Helicopters as well as an avid pilot himself. His long term passion for the aviation and the in-depth knowledge of the industry provided the company with the successful leadership and a stable growth for over 20 years. The company grew from one single helicopter to the fleet of five machines with highly experienced pilots. Every year, High Terrain Helicopters serves over 200 local and international, private and corporate clients. These include government agencies, exploration companies, film and television productions, emergency services and the tourism industry. Steve is a well known and respected entrepreneur and High Terrain Helicopters supports many local charities and local businesses.
All High Terrain Helicopters pilots are well experienced in the longline work, firefighting, geological surveys and exploration, diamond drill moves, hydro constructions, avalanche bombings, search and rescue, medical evacuations (Medevac) and heli-skiing.

Dann Bush
Cranbrook Base Pilot Experienced mountain pilot with over 4,500 hours of flying, working in the industry since 1988. Dann has a great passion for outdoor activities such as fishing, golfing and skiing. This knowledge is a very valuable asset for any aerial animal surveys, guided tours and local mining exploration.

Tyhlor Kahret
Nelson Base Pilot Chief pilot with the High Terrain Helicopters since 2004, with over 15,000 hours of flying experience, specializing in mountain flying and difficult terrain. Tyhlor is best known as an aerial cinematography pilot and has worked with local and international productions, including the snowboard cult movies: "The Art of Flight", and "That's it, that's all". Other work includes over 50 big production movies, " The Tall Man" (2010), Ace Ventura, Passiondale, X Men II, many of the IMAX productions, and countless TV commercials.
